Potpourri Friday #39 & Home Depot Gift Card Giveaway!

Happy Potpourri Friday!    

My thoughts and prayers have been with those who were in the storm path this week, not only for our blogging friends along the Gulf Coast,  but for everyone.

Among other things, this week, I changed an old candle holder into a new chippy white dress.

    hi honey..........your button has been on my sidebar almost since i began blogging! so here goes....i love home depot! and they love me! lol every time i walk in there i tell one of the "guys" (really anyone that will listen to me!) just how mad (really mad!) i am that all these men didnt tell me how much fun workin with power tools was!     Lots of great ideas this week! Excited about your giveaway. Would love to win. I am already a follower and if I win I would use the $$ to shop for a hand sander. I have a couple of chairs I want to re-do and mistakenly used some stripper on one of them and now it's an even bigger mess with dried lumpy paint! A sander might help! Have a nice Labor Day.

    I would use the $25 to buy more paint since I'm pretty sure the mustard yellow my husband wants for the desk is not going to turn out right and I'll have to repaint it a lighter yellow.
