Would You Go Through This Door?

In my absence,  a lot of things have changed:   Everyone seems to have  fresh new faces, i.e. blog headers,  and blog looks, and some new locations.  Blogger has made changes and then there is Picmonkey.   I’m beginning to think everyone but me has had a
“Lifestyle Life”,  as seen on TV.

Today I played at Picmonkey for a while, as if there was nothing else on my plate.  Using one of the pictures from my post of a couple of days ago, I applied  a few effects.

I always like black and white and sepia

Interesting.   But seriously,
would you go through the door below?

Just a reminder that Potpourri Friday returns this week.  Link up beings on Thursday afternoon.  Hope to see you there.

Until Thursday afternoon  or Friday,

Dandelions

If dandelions were hard to grow, they would be most welcome on any lawn.

To Bokeh, or Not to Bokeh…That is the Question

The Time of Man  holds

Leaves Caught in a Tree

While  Blurry Background are  sometimes  achieved by   me without trying,  I found they  were harder to achieve when trying.
You can probably say that Bokeh is the art of
Blurry Backgrounds.
With this effort, I  am  linking to  Tracy’s  “Bokeh Party”.   If the  pictures do not meet the proper  “Bokeh Blur” standard,   there is always the delete button.

Macro or Really Close

Taking advantage of the sunshine and warm weather last weekend, I took my new camera outside for a few macro  (flower setting) shots. I have had the camera for a month and must admit that I’ve yet to read the instruction manual or watch the CD, but gave it a try anyway and these are straight out of the camera.
