I have been out for a few days, but don’t want to miss out on showing you my used windows. In my case they are all antique stained glass.
This one was actually a door we found, the bottom was cut off and the top portion was inserted into a pass-through, with the addition of a bit of trim.
Close-up of the center medallion.
This is how it looks from the other side.
Love the red in this one.
This is a perfect match of the the window size and is hanging on the inside of the window.
Although not a window, this piece hangs over a french door.
There is one more window, a long narrow one which hangs inside the window in the stairway landing. Can't show you that one as the window will have to be cleaned before a picture can be taken.
Until next time, Honey

Beautiful stained glass windows Honey. My Joe knows how to make them and we actually have a glass shop in the back of our old house that he has not used in about twelve years.

So pretty...enjoy your used windows!
ReplyDeleteI have one big stained glass piece that has pinecones and a ribbon and is currently under a couch where it can't be stepped on. You've inspired me to get it out and take a peek.... see if there is a place for it.

Very pretty windows. I have two purchased at antique store in North Carolina and shipped them home to Illinois. I took them out of the wood frame and took a class on how to fix these old windows with lead or zinc and mine hangs from chain in the windows of my home.
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous!

Honey you have some beautiful pieces! My mom has several out inner sunroom. It is one of our have spots when we go home to visit. At our last house we had a sorta stain glass window above our tub. It was all one color but oh so pretty in a fleur de lies. Thanx for coming to party!
