Fall Mantel


It seems that I have fall’en behind in posting some of  my  Fall décor.   I tried simple, and as much as it appeals to me, it just doesn’t work on my mantle .  It seems to favor  abundance, even though we didn’t  quite reach that point.


I put a few sprigs of eucalyptus (it smells so nice)  in one of my  vintage  demijohns which was purchased in Round Top. 



Added some floral sprigs,



Lotus pods,



Candles,  Ribbon



And a pale peachy colored pumpkin on top of a book.

    Looks beautiful, Honey. I have eucalyptus around the house. I love the smell. Mine are all deep green though. I love the color in yours.

    I love your mantle, it's beautiful and I love the smell of eucalyptus, there's lots of trees where I live and it's such a pleasure to smell them in parks and every where. I love it full and the ribbons make it so sweet. Have a super week. FABBY

    It is gorgeous! And just a thought, white pumpkins and white or light fall decor might suit your mantle too. Beautifully done love the richness of all of these items together.

    Ohhhh...your autumn mantel is GORGEOUS, sweet friend! It truly is a fine display of the abundance of autumn! Of course, I love your new demijohn (I'm green with envy...I have been wanting one for the longest time now...hehe!) I like the look of the autumn colored euculyptus...and you're right...it smells sooo good! Love all of the pretty autumn florals and seed pods, etc. and I love how you used the ribbon! Girlfriend, I think this is the first time that I've seen your mantel. I have to tell you...that beautiful ornate frame on the mirror is GORGEOUS!!!
