Last month, the multi-talented Linda at Itsy Bitsy Pieces had a giveaway sponsored by Deb at Loyalist Cottage. Deb is also a multi-talented gal, who just had one of her pillows featured in the Feb-March edition of HGTV magazine.
What did I win? A beautiful silkscreen pillow cover of my choice. Off I went to her etsy shop and chose the French route!
It’s perfect in an arm chair in my breakfast room, don’t you think?
French pillow meets 100 year old tiger oak chair and hand painted Italian Majolica plates purchased in Italy. Obviously, I'm not married to any one style.
Inquiring minds want to know, so off I went in search of H Fournier, Editeur. He was a editor-publisher in the 1800’s and the address listed is Rue Saint -Benoit, 7. What is at Rue Saint’ Benoit, 7 now? The Hotel Bel Ami Saint Germain hotel.
Many thanks to Linda, also the purveyor of three etsy shops, and to Deb for your generosity!
It’s perfect!
Until next time, Honey
