Is he friendly or scary looking?
A garden gnome or water elf ?

His bowl is checked ever so often, but so far I've have found no coins.
Although he has been standing around against this wall for several years, he still doesn’t have a name.

Update: One of my readers, Babs of Upstairs, Downstairs, suggested he is a green man. A search revealed that is what he is. A Green Man is a sculpture, drawing, or other representation of a face surrounded by or made from leaves. Branches or vines may sprout from the nose, mouth, nostrils or other parts of the face and these shoots may bear flowers or fruit.
Until next time, Honey

ReplyDeleteLove it! I bet it sounds wonderful! Stopping over from Wow Us Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI can't come up with a name. But that is one beautiful wall fountain! The prettiest I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
What a beautiful fountain! He is some kind of plant personified! Like laurel or some kind of a vine. Regardless, he is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to stop by and cool off by your fountain.
Yvonne
Whatever his name...he's gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteHe's very handsome and looks like a Green Man to me.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have a great fountain piece like him.

Very pretty. He needs a watery name. Is the water pool below big enough for a few fish?
ReplyDeleteOh he is wonderful! I'd name him Bello Tramonta because Bello is handsome in Italian and Tramontana is North Wind ....He looks like a handsome North wind to me!! *winks* Vanna
ReplyDeleteYour fountain is so pretty. Or handsome I guess. I would go with a totally normal name like Bob or Ted, because that would be unexpected.
ReplyDeleteI think he's green man too but also looks alot like Baccus is represented. Whatever his name, he is lovely.
