The weather has been beautiful with temperatures in the 80s, so I spent a few minutes at the Duck Pond . Watching them brought a few thoughts to mind.
Happy as a Duck in Water
Fallacy: A Goose Thinking he is a Swan
Take Wing and Fly
Maybe they were Holding a Sunday Afternoon Preaching Service
Others were Engaging in a little Afternoon Delight (if the female can actually be delighted having her head held under water!)
Then, there were the Voyeurs
Don’t let your Feathers get Ruffled
Behave like a Duck. Keep Calm and Unruffled on the Surface, but Paddle like the Devil Underneath

I've always love the quote about paddling like a duck. Yes, we can learn a lot from them - specifically the lessong that it's best to keep afternoon delight sessions private lol

We have a bickering married couple of ducks who live in our yard, George and Mildred...just found out today they are not fans of raisin bagels!

Our ducks keep us laughing with antics just like you've pictured. Spring is always the busiest time for them around the pond.
