Glass and Stone

One day last week, I was at the Wisteria Outlet store and found this beauty.  It is a tall, bell-shaped cloche with a stone base (made in Poland, not China).

I shouldn't reveal the price as I wouldn't want to upset anyone who might have paid more.  It was a thrifty purchase and I'll be ready when Marty has her next cloche party, but just can't include it in a true tablescape today.

It’s just a quick post as I’m is the midst of a  cluster of various headaches, to include  migraine and neck pain which has a mushrooming affect.  I have a titanium plate, screws and a bone graft in my neck.    I finally broke down and took something for pain, so please disregard any irregularities this post might contain.   ;)

Watch for a Giveaway coming in a couple of days!

Until next time,  Honey

  2. Oh honey, feel better! I will say some prayers. I had an Uncle that had cluster headaches and would sit at the kitchen table and cry with the pain. XOXO

We probably look like twins...in xrays, anyway. I too have a titanium dogbone in my neck. :o) I hope you feel better once the medication kicks in.

  11. Please take good care of yourself. Too bad bargain buys don't relieve headaches. Sometimes we have to resort to pain pills. I also try to avoid them if possible.

  13. Oh Honey I hope you are better. That is miserable to have headaches. I know from experience. Glad you found yourself a good buy and if it is made in Poland than it is good stuff. (I am Polish).

  15. Oh dear, hope you're feeling better soon. I seldom get a headache. When I do I hate it. I can't even imagin how a migraine must feel. Love the cloche. I have quite a few cloches, but I would not have been able to pass that one up. Can't wait for the party. Hope I don't miss it this time!

  18. Beautiful cloche, and the base is perfect. Hope you feel better very soon. I had the same surgery, and it took a good two years to be pain free.

  19. Hope you are feeling better. I was there last week too. My first time at their new location. A store! Not a cleareance center, I was a little disappointed. It was gorgeous and all things Wisteria. I did order some french cut glasses that I went for. They were sold out. I wonder if we were there on the same day. I went on Tuesday I think, around noon.

  25. Hi Honey~ thanks for stopping by; I am off to see more of your posts; but mostly wanted to wish you some relief from your neck pain....take care, A

ps the burlap must be washed at least 5 times, and then steamed, which I let the cleaners do for 40 yards worth!
