Just Ducky!

The weather has been beautiful with temperatures in the 80s,  so  I  spent a few minutes at the Duck Pond .  Watching  them brought a few thoughts to mind.

Happy as a Duck in Water

Fallacy:  A  Goose Thinking he is a Swan

Take Wing and Fly

Maybe they were Holding a Sunday Afternoon Preaching Service

Others were Engaging in a little Afternoon Delight  (if the female can actually be delighted having her head held under water!)

Then, there were the  Voyeurs

Don’t let your Feathers get Ruffled

Behave like a Duck.  Keep Calm and Unruffled on the Surface, but Paddle like the Devil Underneath

Hugs, Honey

  13. I've always love the quote about paddling like a duck. Yes, we can learn a lot from them - specifically the lessong that it's best to keep afternoon delight sessions private lol

  22. We have a bickering married couple of ducks who live in our yard, George and Mildred...just found out today they are not fans of raisin bagels!
They live next to the air conditioner, under which resides a pregnant bunny!
Life is good! (Unless they keep eating my plants!)
