To Bokeh, or Not to Bokeh…That is the Question

The Time of Man  holds
Cactus Plants,

033

Ocean Shells

034

 Little Shoes left behind.

055

  Yaupon Berries,  and

060

Leaves Caught in a Tree

While  Blurry Background are  sometimes  achieved by   me without trying,  I found they  were harder to achieve when trying.
You can probably say that Bokeh is the art of
Blurry Backgrounds.
With this effort, I  am  linking to  Tracy’s  “Bokeh Party”.   If the  pictures do not meet the proper  “Bokeh Blur” standard,   there is always the delete button.

Hugs, Honey

  2. Looks good! I like the effect. I had been doing the bokeh too and didn't realize that is what it was. It is beautiful with the berry shot.

  3. I have seen this on other blogs. I am an "automatic all the way" type of gal. Which means I'm too lazy to learn all this! Love the little shoes!

  15. Ah, I want to learn how to do this. I only have a small digital Olympus camera that doesn't have attachments. I wonder if I can still it with that camera? Your pictures are lovely! Doing the bokeh makes them look professional. I especially love the seashell and the leaves caught in tree.

  20. I think these backgrounds are quite adequately blurry. You composed some interesting still life images in the process.
