How Cool

The heat – it’s brutal!
The thermometer has been stuck at 104 since early June.  That changed last week  -  when it went up.  106, 108.
The official temp is 110, but it’s 113-degrees here  today.  More of the same tomorrow and  in the foreseeable future.
Rain – Zero chance of precipitation.

Even 6-Flags is closed in the afternoons this week.

So I’m thinking  of a cooler day.  One of water rafting on the Snake River in Idaho.

How cool

Was that?

It was

Pretty cool!

Until next time,  Honey

  5. Just looking at the photos helps to cool me off! They said that it might break the record in the OKC area today (113) and now we're under a state of emergency in our community for water main breaks. We're supposed to boil water and conserve where possible. I guess that means I can't run through the sprinkler! :)

  6. That looks like fun!! It is in the low 90's here...pretty normal for this time of year for us...but the weird thing was the rain we got! It's usually always dry all summer here! Stay cool if you can!!

  19. Yikes that is brutal heat! We're on day two of temps over 80 and I'm thrilled to pieces! It's pretty much all the summer we've had.
That rafting trip looks like a blast! I did a rafting trip many years ago down the Colorado river and I'll never do it again....Glad I tried it once though....scared the poop outta me!*winks* Vanna
