Guess what’s in my toolbox. It’s so large and heavy, I can barely lift it.
Maybe that’s why it’s rarely opened.
But, occasionally I do.
Then take a blank canvas,
Select some paints,
And it turns into this….
Hum-m… Now I think I like the “cropped” version better. Maybe I should take it out of the frame, cut down the canvas, re-stretch and reframe it.
Until next time, Honey

One of my big wishes is to be able to get an idea I see in my head out my hands and onto a canvas. Unfortunately, something gets lost in the communication between head and hand. You do not have that ailment! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work!

My goodness! This is a beautiful piece of artwork! I love it in the frame! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I stopped by. I haven't painted on canvas for a while now. You have me inspired. I love that piece. It sounds like a lot of work to go back in and crop it. Maybe you just do another piece in a similar style and subject matter that takes up more of the canvas. Then you would have TWO fabulous pieces. :)

Love the painting, you are very talented!

I love the many uses for those tool boxes. I keep embroidery floss in one. In another, I keep the "tools" I need when I set up for a sale. I can see you put yours to great use, too! What a talent you are!!! Thanks for sharing that with us.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Pink Saturday!! dana
Sweet! You must open that tool box more often. hugs♥O
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree...open the box frequently! I luv it both ways too.
ReplyDeleteKim @ tiarasandbowties.blogspot.com
Wow, nice painting! Is it oils? I'm a watercolorist, myself, but I do appreciate a good oil painting. As for cropping the painting, my vote is keep both versions. You could scan the painting into your computer (or use the photo you posted here, if the resolution is high enough for print) and have it printed.
