Today I’m doing a rerun of a book bundle project I did last year. It involves a bit of “Romancing”. Romancing the Book Bundles, that it. It takes only a few minutes and adds a bit of Valentine’s Spirit. Pottery Barn probably hasn’t thought of this yet or they would be charging $39 $79 a bundle.
All it takes is a bit of ribbon, a bit of twine, a piece of sheet music, some printed script and an old photograph, or whatever inspiration you have on hand to add…
…a bit of romance to your books. They will work well in a number of your vignettes. The book with the ribbon and script was in my
Wedding Anniversary post and is also in my current header.
Until next time, Honey

They are beautiful, Honey. So quick and easy too! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have to try this. I read on another blog to rub a wet teabag over the pages and spine to age them. Then add ribbons, sheet music, and twine.
ReplyDeleteI was in Pier One today and they have three sizes of fake books to stack. They do not open and range from $18 - $22 each! Have these people never heard of used book stores? ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever and talented.
ReplyDeleteI just love those bundles.
I actually laughed out loud about your PB comment- SO TRUE!!!!
BEAUTIFUL Honey!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to make this, too and I like to add a little seashell on top of everything! Enjoy your week! ♥
ReplyDeleteHoney, this is so beautiful!! Perfect for Valentine's Day!! You always create such pretty things!
ReplyDeleteHi Honey Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous share. I love your stack of books. The twine is so romantic and along with the photo. It might also look gorgeous with some soft colored seam bias tape that is crinkled and tied. So pretty. A little charm or two might be pretty as well. Oh you have my mind swimming. I so love it when you share.
Hope you are having a gorgeous evening sweetie. Country hugs and much love, Sherry
Very romantic Honey. Love em!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful, I love valentines. Thank you ever so much for sharing these creations for us all to enjoy. Cheers SpecialK XoXo
ReplyDeleteLovely post, Honey. I love old books and you've adorned yours beautifully. I haven't been in Pottery Barn in awhile but you are so right in your assessment. It is amazing how some folks would rather buy made-in-China fakes than oldies that were made in the good ol' USA.
