A Little Spring

Looking forward to Spring,  my Living Room Mantel and Armoire said  “We need some Spring-y  greenery and some Magnolia Love.”
(Like Nannette and Babbette, they talk... or I'm
I  hearing voices?)

The Vase is  Vintage 60’s  Art Glass.  My Husband, when he was a wee lad,  gave this to his Mother for Mother’s Day.

To Bokeh, or Not to Bokeh…That is the Question

While  Blurry Background are  sometimes  achieved by   me without trying,  I found they  were harder to achieve when trying.
You can probably say that Bokeh is the art of
Blurry Backgrounds.
With this effort, I  am  linking to  Tracy’s  “Bokeh Party”.   If the  pictures do not meet the proper  “Bokeh Blur” standard,   there is always the delete button.

Romancing the Book Bundles

Today I did a bit of  “Romancing”.     Romancing the Book Bundles,  actually.    It takes only a few minutes and adds a bit of Valentine’s Spirit.   Pottery Barn probably hasn’t thought of this yet or they would be charging  $39  $59 a bundle.

All it takes is a bit of ribbon,  a bit of twine,  a piece of sheet music,  some printed script and an old photograph, or whatever inspiration you have on hand  to add…

…a bit of romance to your books.

The Script Book is also featured in my  Celebrating!  post.
Page of script was from the Graphics Fairy.

Macro or Really Close

Taking advantage of the sunshine and warm weather last weekend, I took my new camera outside for a few macro  (flower setting) shots. I have had the camera for a month and must admit that I’ve yet to read the instruction manual or watch the CD, but gave it a try anyway and these are straight out of the camera.
